Below, my favorite images of Anna Nicole and of Barbaro. Been meaning to share them for a long time now. I don't intend the inclusion of these pictures to be mean spirited, they are just enjoyable, I am not evil, I am not evil, I am not evil...

1) I decided to buy some pornography for a film shoot recently, and it made me very uncomfortable. Obvious, I know, but still, I thought buying it for a purpose would relieve the situation of it's awkward weight. Buying vaseline is more embarrassing than buying pornography. The stranger who witnesses your checkout, imagines the moment of application, awkward or not. This happens.

2) A Jenny McCarthy issue of playboy, with Jenny cuddling Santa Claus on the cover, was the first piece of pornography I ever owned. After weeks of staring at the magazine at my childhood newstand, I forced my mother to buy the issue for me. Oneof the gutsiest things I ever did as a kid. I can still feel the shame, my cheeks blush. I remember the look on the man behind the counters face. My mother holding my hand, forking over the money for my pornography.

3) My house did have a subscription to Playboy sometime in the 80's. I remember the cover of a Weather Girls issue most clearly.

3) Both Barbaro images are from the NY Times. Recently, I noticed this photo below on the front page of nytimes.com; same photographer as the above photo of Barbaro in his prime, scroll up if necessary.



4) Some violence. Some friends believe this footage to be real, or at least consider the video to be legit propoganda footage.
